Early July 2013 a client of Gunfleet Marine was referred to Invisible Crew by a director of Gunfleet Marine. Invisible Crew had built their reputation with this director when he was at the helm of Oyster Marine. The client initially planned to skipper this yacht himself but became aware of the complexity and maintenance that was associated with

the systems responsible for the luxury on board his Pocket Superyacht. He was also aware of the pitfalls associated with crew as he had temporarily employed someone to skipper his former yacht. He was wary if repeating the experience. We selected and coached Cpt Paul Berry and supported him throughout his employment on SY Amitie.

We also organised the payroll services and provide consultancy for the owner when necessary. Due to health problems the owner reluctantly sold Amitié after three years of cruising the Caribbean and the US East Coast. Paul has delivered the yacht from the US to the Azores for the new owners.
